"I had a couple missing teeth on the lower left and did NOT want a removable partial denture. After our conversation about implants, I decided to go ahead and have some implants done. So Dr. Receveur did three implants and with the three implants I’ve never had a minutes’ trouble. I feel comfortable eating apples, pears, anything I want to eat.
Dr. Receveur, I would recommend him to anybody because of his patience and the work he does. He does excellent work. If I needed some other implants, I would have Dr. Ron to do that. Just have to say thanks to Dr. Receveur for being so kind.
"

"For four years I had to wear a flipper-type thing and usually took it out to eat. I decided I had to get rid of the little partial. I was scared at first about the implant because I knew it was surgery. Dr. Receveur made me very comfortable with the whole procedure, with everything. Placing the implant was a very easy procedure and now I don’t even think about it. I can bite into anything I want. I can do whatever I want. I don’t have to take anything out whenever I go to eat with friends or anything. It was a great decision and I’m glad Dr. Ron told me about it and gave me the option and he was the one that did it. Dr. Ron will definitely be my dentist for life; I wouldn’t want to go to anybody else, ever."
-- Jared Murphy, Georgetown, IN.

"Prior to sedation dentistry, dental procedures were a
night- mare for me. Crying before I would even make the
appointment. Now, with sedation dentistry, I’m much more
relaxed. I absolutely love the team here. I’ve actually
driven three hours home from college to come in because I
wouldn’t go to any other dentist."
-- Mary Gettelfinger,
Jeffersonville, IN. |

"My parents were very
poor. It (dentistry) wasn’t a priority on their list. I had
some problems early in life. I lost several teeth in the
back because of that. Anyone that wants to have an implant
would be very comfortable with Dr. Ron."
-- Sue Kinney,
New Albany / Southern Indiana. |
 |
"Dr. Ron has just been wonderful from the get-go. He
allows me the time that I need, because I have certain
needs that others may not have. I have total confidence
in my implant. I eat more on that side because that
tooth feels stronger. If you’re having problems, you
really need to go see my dentist, Dr. Ron, because he’s
the absolute best. He will take care of what you need
and want out of your dental experience, which is great
teeth and no pain."
-- Vicki Lowery,
New Albany / Southern Indiana.

"I had dentures for 35 years. We went to the state fair this
year and I had taffy and a candy apple for the first time! I
forget that they’re there. It’s just like having normal
teeth. My only regret is not knowing about this sooner!"
-- Lonnie Minarich,
Floyds Knobs, IN. |
 |
"I was really scared of the dentist when I was younger, and
I think that was the basis for a lot of my dental problems.
So fear was a big factor, until I started with Dr. Receveur,
and now I don’t worry at all. I’m totally comfortable with
Dr. Receveur, and I don’t even worry about coming. I usually
fall asleep during the appointment."
-- Fran Matusky,
Sellersburg, IN. |
 |
"Before seeing Dr. Receveur, I couldn’t eat apples or corn
on the cob. I can eat anything now. He showed me how the
lines around my mouth had “drooped”. He improved the overall
appearance of my face and gave me the confidence to smile
more."
-- Mike Hosea,
New Albany / Southern Indiana. |

"The Center for Advanced Dentistry is 100% of everything you
would hope and dream that a dentist’s office would be. The
staff is wonderful. I love Dr. Receveur. He’s had some
dental problems in the past, and understands the pain and
fear that people really have, and I think that he treats you
as though he’s treating himself."

Louisville, KY. |

Heather
I
graduated from the IU School of Dentistry in 1999 with a
degree in Dental Hygiene. I have had experience in
several different types of dental practices. After
graduation, I worked for a periodontist in Lafayette
Indiana. Most recently I worked with a large office of 4
doctors and 4 hygienist in Bloomington, IN. My love for
dentistry has continued to grow throughout my career. I
have 3 children, 2 girls and a boy, and a wonderful
husband Robert. I have one pet, Daisey, a cat.
Denise
I
have an 18 year background in dental assisting and
patient care coordination. I worked from 1990-2002 in a
very progressive doctor's office who sent me to some of
the most advanced courses available in North America.
Through these courses I met and trained with many
nationally and internationally renowned dentists. In
late 2003, I was fortunate enough to travel throughout
the US for several months to meet with many successful
dentists and determine what it was that made their
practices "special". Since then, I have returned to
Southern Indiana and have 2 daughters, Rachel and
Hannah. I enjoy long walks, tennis, gardening, and above
all traveling. I spend a lot of time with my large
extended family. My love of dentistry is a major driving
force in my life...it has been the part of my life that
has allowed me to grow and learn and achieve success in
so many areas, which has had such a positive influence
on the rest of my life.
Joan
My
name is Joan and my position at The Center for Advanced
Dentistry is an expanded duty dental assistant. I have
been in dentistry for 14 years and I enjoy being able to
care for our patients and help them feel good about
their smiles and dental health. I have two wonderful
sons, Josh 22 and Jesse 17. I also have a 1 year old
granddaughter Rayonna who is another source of happiness
in my life. I thoroughly enjoy my career and delivering
comfortable, compassionate dental care for our patients.
It is very rewarding to help scared patients get the
dental care they need and the smile they've always
wanted in a very warm and comforting environment.
Annette
I
received an Associate degree in Specialized Technology
in the Expanded Duties Dental Assisting program at
Median School of Allied Health Careers in Pittsburgh, PA
in July 2005. After graduating, I went on to pass my
dental assisting national board, which only a handful of
dental assistants have achieved. I have and will
continue to take several continuing education courses to
better my dental knowledge. When I'm not working with Dr
Receveur, I enjoy traveling back home to West Virginia
to spend time with my family.
