"I had a couple missing teeth on the lower left and did NOT want a removable partial denture. After our conversation about implants, I decided to go ahead and have some implants done. So Dr. Receveur did three implants and with the three implants I’ve never had a minutes’ trouble. I feel comfortable eating apples, pears, anything I want to eat.
Dr. Receveur, I would recommend him to anybody because of his patience and the work he does. He does excellent work. If I needed some other implants, I would have Dr. Ron to do that. Just have to say thanks to Dr. Receveur for being so kind.
"

"For four years I had to wear a flipper-type thing and usually took it out to eat. I decided I had to get rid of the little partial. I was scared at first about the implant because I knew it was surgery. Dr. Receveur made me very comfortable with the whole procedure, with everything. Placing the implant was a very easy procedure and now I don’t even think about it. I can bite into anything I want. I can do whatever I want. I don’t have to take anything out whenever I go to eat with friends or anything. It was a great decision and I’m glad Dr. Ron told me about it and gave me the option and he was the one that did it. Dr. Ron will definitely be my dentist for life; I wouldn’t want to go to anybody else, ever."
-- Jared Murphy, Georgetown, IN.

"Prior to sedation dentistry, dental procedures were a
night- mare for me. Crying before I would even make the
appointment. Now, with sedation dentistry, I’m much more
relaxed. I absolutely love the team here. I’ve actually
driven three hours home from college to come in because I
wouldn’t go to any other dentist."

"My parents were very
poor. It (dentistry) wasn’t a priority on their list. I had
some problems early in life. I lost several teeth in the
back because of that. Anyone that wants to have an implant
would be very comfortable with Dr. Ron."
-- Sue Kinney,
New Albany / Southern Indiana. |
 |
"Dr. Ron has just been wonderful from the get-go. He
allows me the time that I need, because I have certain
needs that others may not have. I have total confidence
in my implant. I eat more on that side because that
tooth feels stronger. If you’re having problems, you
really need to go see my dentist, Dr. Ron, because he’s
the absolute best. He will take care of what you need
and want out of your dental experience, which is great
teeth and no pain."
-- Vicki Lowery,
New Albany / Southern Indiana.

"I had dentures for 35 years. We went to the state fair this
year and I had taffy and a candy apple for the first time! I
forget that they’re there. It’s just like having normal
teeth. My only regret is not knowing about this sooner!"
-- Lonnie Minarich,
Floyds Knobs, IN. |

"I was really scared of the dentist when I was younger, and
I think that was the basis for a lot of my dental problems.
So fear was a big factor, until I started with Dr. Receveur,
and now I don’t worry at all. I’m totally comfortable with
Dr. Receveur, and I don’t even worry about coming. I usually
fall asleep during the appointment."
-- Fran Matusky,
Sellersburg, IN. |
 |
"Before seeing Dr. Receveur, I couldn’t eat apples or corn
on the cob. I can eat anything now. He showed me how the
lines around my mouth had “drooped”. He improved the overall
appearance of my face and gave me the confidence to smile
more."
-- Mike Hosea,
New Albany / Southern Indiana. |

"The Center for Advanced Dentistry is 100% of everything you
would hope and dream that a dentist’s office would be. The
staff is wonderful. I love Dr. Receveur. He’s had some
dental problems in the past, and understands the pain and
fear that people really have, and I think that he treats you
as though he’s treating himself."

Louisville, KY. |

Meet Dr. Ron Receveur
Ronald Leo Receveur, DDS
Dr.
Ronald Receveur is a native of New Albany & Southern Indiana. He graduated
from Indiana University Southeast, where he received his
undergraduate degree with honors in Chemistry. He earned
his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Indiana
University School of Dentistry and has been providing
cutting-edge, compassionate dentistry since 1981. Dr.
Receveur participates in extensive continuing education,
far and above what is required, so he can provide
state-of-the-art dentistry to his dental patients.
For over 20 years, Dr. Receveur has received extensive
training in the management of pain and dysfunction
associated with the head, neck, and jaw. He studied
under Dr. Gus Livaditis in the 1980's, who conducted
early research with acid etch and chemical bonding, now
used in cosmetic dentistry, enhancements to bond
porcelain veneers, and acrylics. Dr. Receveur is highly
experienced providing smile make-overs, having placed
porcelain veneers for 25 years. He also studied under
Alan Weinstein in Cincinnati who performed clinical
testing for dental supply companies to improve the
strength, durability and beauty of cosmetic bonding
materials. Much of the present day cosmetic dentistry is
possible because of this early work. Dr. Receveur is a
long-time member of the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry.
For many years, Dr. Receveur was a Regional Coordinator
with a national practice management group committed to
delivering the highest level of care to their patients.
He taught other dentists how to improve the quality of
all facets of their dental care delivery. He is a
speaker for numerous civic, professional and peer groups
on topics ranging from cosmetic and metal-free dentistry
to the management of pain associated with the neck and
jaw dysfunction.
Aside from being a perfectionist about his work, Dr.
Receveur would like to think of himself as a good
communicator. "Patients want to be educated about their
health care so they can make intelligent decisions. To
do that, we have to be good communicators. For 25 years,
we've strived to help patients understand all of their
options and taken pride in offering them practical
solutions to their dental problems". Because of this
dedication, Dr. Receveur was voted "BEST DENTIST" four
years in a row in a local newspaper opinion poll.
