4. Fear of being lectured (made to feel guilty)
Whether it's raising kids, work schedules, fear or money that interferes with getting their care, people sometimes just put off getting their dentistry done. We are here to help, not lecture. We do our best to talk to our patients like normal, everyday people who have the same day-to-day problems that we all have. "No Guilt"Many of our patients come in and say that they weren't even aware of some of the treatment options that we tell them about. I'm just surprised at how many patients don't know what's available these days with Modern Dentistry. Patients nowadays can fix nearly every denture problem or missing tooth problem with either implants or some type of nice dentistry that wasn't offered a few years ago. We've been doing implants for twenty years, and patients are amazed how we can support their dentures with implants, or we can replace missing teeth with implants, or all of the exciting cosmetic procedures from porcelain veneers to Invisalign.
